Copywriter / Content Creator

Do you have a passion for bringing great brands to life? Are you interested in joining a growing team to lead copywriting and storytelling for iDevAffiliate? We are seeking a Copywriter who is a master of their craft, producing clear, compelling copy for our customers while also understanding the business objectives behind the work.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume environment while developing original copy and collaborating with a driven and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have worked across digital advertising, affiliate management and affiliate recruitment and e-commerce.

This role requires an expert command of grammar and style, as well as a desire to create processes that help non-writers easily access and implement accurate messaging. The right candidate must be passionate about writing and editing, maintaining style guides and evergreen content—all while upholding a consistent brand voice of iDevAffiliate.

Typical assignments for this role would be article creation for our blog, guest blogging, social media copywriting, SEO based copywriting and general marketing content.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the copywriting role including a deep understanding of the brand positioning
• Be the subject matter expert for voice and message hierarchies related to customer engagement campaigns, acquisition campaigns, and new product launches
• Write copy along the creative spectrum, from compelling campaign lines to clear instructional messages, across a range of deliverables and channels
• Partner with design peers to consistently raise the bar for creative development and execution
• Collaborate with marketing, category, and legal to assess copy/creative needs and messaging priorities
• Present copy strategy and creative concepts
• Own the audit and feedback loops with teams and partners to uphold our voice and brand standards

Basic Qualifications

• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating excellence in copywriting for topics - ( Affiliate Management; Affiliate Marketing; Digital Marketing; Ecommerce )

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience copywriting and editing in an agency or in-house setting
• A love for digital marketing / affiliate marketing / ecommerce
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to succeed as sole copywriter in organization
• Relentlessly high-quality standards and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to gracefully defend creative decisions to leadership
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment with multiple different stakeholders and regulatory requirements
• Ability to juggle many projects and consistently deliver results despite competing priorities

Compensation

This position will start off as project-based contracting and compensation will be determined based on applicant experience. This position can easily grow in to a full or part-time opportunity based on needs and availability.
